Now, I'm gonna tell you about my story about Dewa Athena.

First, What Is Dewa Athena?

Dewa Athena is one of an event in SMAN 3 Bandung. It means "Olimpiade Siswa, Ajang Tanjuk Kebolehan, Eksistensi, dan Kebersamaan Siswa." This activity from this event is, sports competition between classes which aims to increase the cohesiveness and solidarity of the class. 

This year, Dewa Athena held on the 23^rd-25^th of March, 1^st April and the final will be held on 8^th April in Bali Field. There are nine sports that matched, they are futsal, douche ball, badminton, for boys and girls, volley, relay and gobak sodor.

When the event held, I became a committee, more precisely, I became the Liaison Organizer (LO) of  XI-2 on 23^rd-24^th . It wasn't really hard because I already knew some of the student at that class and it was really helping me.

The first day of Dewa Athena, it was rainy, so the event started a little bit late. But fortunately, the event running smoothly and there wasn't problem when it being held. I had a lot to do. I had to ensure that the class joined the competition, told the class if they would have a competition because if they didn't play, they will be walked out and fined. For this day, the event started from 08.00 a.m until about 04.00 p.m.

The next day, second day of Dewa Athena, XI-2 had morning competition, so I texted the class leader to inform the class to come early, so the won't be walked out and I'm happy because they came early. The second day, they (XI-2) were really excited to do the competition. even though they didn't win all competition, but at last, they won four competition from nine, so they will do the semi final on 8^th April. 

The competition which was won by them is futsal and douche ball for girls, badminton for boys and gobak sodor.

The third day of Dewa Athena, on the 25^th of March, I didn't come because I attended extracurricular, KPA 3. On that day, We were going to practice and evaluation for our concert on 29^th of April. Well, by the way, don't forget to come!

1^st April, it was the fourth day of Dewa Athena. I came to it, and I play gobak sodor. It was really fun, even though my class wasn't win, but I'm still happy because my class won a few competition such as futsal, douche ball and basketball for boys. The event end around 04.00 p.m. but I wasn't join this event 'till end because I had to attend my practice on KPA.

NatuRe

Nature is the gift from God to us. We lived and do anything here. Nature gives us everything we want, such as fresh air to breath, place to live, food and many other. Since the old time until now, there are a lot of changes in our nature. People use the nature for their desire and sometimes it is too excessive. Looking back for the old time, we could find unspoiled nature. There were many forest and we could find many plants. People still walk on foot or riding bicycle so it was almost no pollution that made us breath with fresh air. But right now, as the time passed by, human needs grow and some people changed become greedy.

With the development of technology, many things change around us. The forest was cut down, a lot of transportation that make air pollution, polluted river, and many other. People use a lot of wood for their needs and sometimes, there are people who are not responsible. They just cut it down and do not plant it again. It makes barren forest that give negative impact for the nature. With the absence of forest, the animal don’t have their place to live, reduce the diversity of plants and there will be global warming.

Present time, the nature is polluted. The earth, the air and the water. Human concern is lacking. Some people not aware if they make a mistake. For the example, sometimes we are not throw the trash in its place. Some people think that throwing the little trash, smoking, using transportation will not make pollution. But, do you ever think, if there are one million thinking like that, what is the consequences? Pollution that make global warming. Illegal logging and catching fish with bomb also can ruin the nature. The construction of multi-storey building, especially with using glass also can make global warming.

The impact of global warming not only perceived by one or one million people, but it is perceived by everyone in this world. With the damage of nature, there will be disaster. Flood, landslide, lack of clean water, air pollution and many other.

So, what we have to do?

What we have to is, use our own transportation, rarely. We can use public transportation or ride a bike for decrease the air pollution. Trash the garbage on its place. Do not throw it on river or throw it everywhere. Do not smoking. If you want to smoke, do not in the public area because it can make other people feel uncomfortable. Doing reforestation for the barren forest.

As a student we cannot do much and the easiest way to save the nature is always using bag, not using plastic bag. Borrow your tumblr everywhere you go, so you will reducing plastic waste.

We don’t know what will happen with our nature tomorrow and the next time, so, save the nature from now, for the better future.

Hello everyone!

Before I tell you what I want to share, let me say Happy New Year! It's 2017.

Now, I'm gonna tell you what I've done on my last holiday. Well, actually I spent a lot of my time at home with my family. What it makes me happy is my big family came to Bandung and stayed for a few days.

My holiday started after I received my report card because a few days before it I had to do my SP. The first day of my holiday, my first brother finally came to Bandung. I was really happy because rarely met with him. 

There was a night where I went to restaurant at Jl. Laswi. Not all of my family were there because my uncle and my aunt recently moved to Cimahi from Jambi, they came late. My other uncle still in Jakarta, I thought he and his family wouldn't came here because usually they have their own activities, but suddenly, after I had my dinner, my cousin sent me a message. She said she wanted to come to Bandung, I was happy, again.

My uncle's family came to my house around  6 a.m. They brought some gifts for us. We spent our time at home, talked about our activity and what had happened when we were not together. On afternoon, I went to Trans Studio Mall with my sisters, We thought it was our first girl's time because usually we went everywhere with the boys. We watched movie, ate some food and took our first photobox! It was super fun. 

At night, I had dinner with my big family at Cafe Bali. Not all of my family member came because my cousin couldn't come. He was at Yogyakarta, studying for his collage preparation, so we called him, we did a video call. My uncle and his family only spent two days in Bandung, so the day after we had our dinner, they came back to Jakarta.

Because I got bored at home, so my sister and I decided to spent our holiday on Cimahi, stayed at my aunt's house. When I arrived there, she said to me that I had to be inject vaccine to prevent cervical cancer. It was scary, but it was only my suggestion because I didn't feel hurt or something. 

I spent my new year on Cimahi, we made food together! We made, fried bananas, grilled sausages and shabu-shabu. We also sang together, karaoke! We sang the old song that we knew. I felt happy at that time, even though my arm was sick.

The next day, the first day of 2017. Me and my family went to Sariater Hotel&Resort. We spent two days and one night there. Soak in the hot tubs, walking around, fishing and I did shooting target. At the afternoon, we went back.

Approaching the last day of the holiday, Me and my sisters went to Crayon's Craft & Co. We learned how to knit. I learned to knit with using loop, it is really easy than using needle. Now, it is become my hobby.

Well, I think that is all my holiday.
I spent with my big family and I get a new hobby!

So many good places in this world that we can find and because of that, there are so many place that goes into my travel-future-list. But let me tell you one, I want to go to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. There, we can enjoy the beautiful natural scenery.

In that park, we can find Capilano Suspension Bridge, It is a simple suspension bridge crossing the Capilano River in the District of North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It have 140 metres (460 ft) long and 70 metres (230 ft) above the river. 

I really want to go there because I like to explore the nature, even though I afraid of the height, but I think it is fine to increasing my courage.

Besides the Capilano Suspension Bridge that was first built in 1889, there are also Cliff Walk that opened in June 2011. When Christmas or winter, those places will be decorated by colorful lights

This place draws over 800,000 visitors a year. Not only for vacation, but some people use this place for their pre-wedding photo. 

If you want to go there, don't forget to be careful because it was very high, don't be careless because there are a few incidents that take casualities

So, I hope one day I can go there, refreshing my mind and enjoy the beautiful nature.

Other Activity beside Studying in School

Hello Everyone!

Come back with me again.

In this post, I wanna tell you about what I do beside studying at SMAN 3.

So many people said that senior high school is the best time for student. But I think it will be the best time if we use that time with positive activity, such as extracurricular. Because of SMAN 3 have a lot of extracurriculars that made me confused when the open registration held, so finally, I get in to five extracurriculars.

1. DKM Al - Furqon

This is a religious extracurricular. In here we discuss about Islam. How Islam in the past and present, the position of Islam, motivation and mentoring. This extracurricular also make an event about women, and it is very motivating for women who are moslem.

2. Keluarga Paduan Angklung 3

Known as KPA3 and it is one of the active extracurricular in SMAN3. KPA3 was a pioneer in performing modern pop music by tradition instrument, which was considered a major breakthrough. As time passed by, KPA3 has attained numerous achievements, confirm it as one of Indonesia’s leading angklung orchestra. This extracurricular have a lot of achievement since 1981 and often held concert. Not only learn about angklung, but also learning about dance and musical instrument. 3. M3

It is an extracurricular that develop our interests and talents in journalism and design. In here we create the bulletin boards and the annual memorial book Well, in my opinion, even though this extracurricular doesn't look really active, but we like to meet and discuss about what we're gonna do.

4. Movie Production 3

Like it's name, MP3 is about producing movie or video. In this extracurricular we can be the director, script writer and the other. For your information, it has youtube channel, so if you want to check the video that made by MP3, you can click here

5. Komisi 3

This is an extracurricular who have autonomous rights in developing the business. This extracurricular manage the school's merchandise such as jackets, sweaters, hoodies and bracelets. So, why I chose this extracurricular? It is because I want to learn about business even though I'm in science major.

That is all my extracurricular. Between the five extracurriculars, I often attend DKM Al-Furqon and KPA.

Well, I think that is all my other activity in the school.
